Anadarko Petroleum (APC) Stock Closes Higher Today After Oil Snaps Four-Day Losing Streak

NEW YORK (TheStreet) --Shares of Anadarko Petroleum Corp. closed up 2.04% at $77.35 on Wednesday afternoon, as oil futures marked their strongest gain in more than two years, snapping a four-day losing streak, Reuters reports. West Texas Intermediate for February delivery rose 5.73% to $48.52 a barrel at 4:14 p.m. on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent increased 4.49% to $48.68 a barrel.
